Vinnicchina: the Prosecutor's office has taken steps to protect the interests of the state in the sphere of protection and use of mineral resources
In the course of studying of a condition of legality of subsoil use on the territory of the village Council Garachico Kryzhopil district Prosecutor's office of Vinnytsia region detected a fact of illegal mining of national importance – sawn limestone. It is established that on the territory Garachico sawn limestone deposits in established mining and sales of limestone without any permits, paying taxes and with violations of legislation on labour protection, which could create danger to life and health’I people or the environment. Also, attackers unauthorized under’merged to high-voltage power lines and do not allow for tunnel workers, regulatory and law enforcement agencies. On the fact of illegal mining of national importance by the Prosecutor's office initiated criminal proceedings under part 2 of article 240 of the criminal code.
