United territorial communities of the region will be financed by the USAID project

Over the next 5 years, the United States Agency for international development to help the communities of the Ukraine to expand and strengthen the achievements of the decentralization reform. This includes the draft of "GOOD", the total amount of funding which will amount to $ 50 million. Now experts make a tour of the areas and meet with potential participants. "The main reason why we came to Ternopil is primarily to study the processes of decentralization that already have occurred; to know what success you have achieved in the communities and to help you realize your future plans and to obtain new achievements", - said the expert of the USAID project in Ukraine Decentralization is the path to better results and efficiency" (GOOD) MICK MULLAY. The main objective of the project is "GOOD" to help the United communities to overcome depressive thinking. They must learn to effectively use new opportunities, to independently engage in their future, to make difficult decisions and be prepared to take responsibility for them. In the framework of project "GOOD" will be supported by the best development model, which will be spread all over Ukraine. "The project will be devoted to developing the economic potential of communities. Also, after three years of its implementation have emerged and additional grants that will be used to implement additional projects," - said the expert of the USAID project in Ukraine Decentralization is the path to better results and efficiency" (GOOD) MAIS VANOYAN. The final results of the competition will be announced in October. But we can already predict that as the unconditional leader in the creation of communities, Ternopil region will implement further territorial reform with the support of "GOOD". "I believe that the Ternopil community will also be able to participate in these contests. Moreover, competitions will include the implementation of projects not only for communities but also for infrastructure. They will be linked to the environment, medicine, security measures and the like. For us it is important that the community received another source of funding for their projects and their implementation in their villages," - said the Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration Stepan Barna. Good news also was the fact that the regional office of the project "GOOD" will be opened in Ternopil. The basic decision is made, now solved organizational and technical issues. "It gives an opportunity to coordinate work on several areas and a focus in the area that has the highest combined local communities. Of course this is related to the financing," - said the coordinator of the regional office of reforms in Ternopil oblast Viktor LYTVYNCHUK. This was reported in the Ternopil regional state administration
