Zhytomyr: the leaders of the education sector of the region took part in a conference with Government representatives.
On 18 August, in Zhitomir gathered heads of departments, departments of education of Zhytomyr pedagogical conference, which was held via an online connection with the Government House. The conference was attended by Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Yaroslav Laguta and head of the Department of education and science of regional state administration Vadim Kalinin. Presiding at the event was the First Vice Prime Minister - Minister of economic development and trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv. In the discussion took part the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Vyacheslav Kyrylenko and Minister of education and science of Ukraine Liliya Hrynevych. The conference participants were talking about the development of preschool, General secondary, extracurricular, and vocational-technical education in the 2015/2016 academic year and outlined the tasks for the 2016/2017 academic year. The speakers briefed the educators on the Concept of the new Ukrainian schools and changes to the programmes of primary school. As the Minister of education and science of Ukraine Liliya Hrynevych, this year 1 September in that school goes almost 394 thousand children. Of these, more than 30% in rural areas. In 2016, the education is a lot. In particular, approved the new programme for primary schools, in the areas of creating supporting schools, among the priorities is the implementation of inclusive education.
