the Department of international cooperation and regional development of the regional state administration developed the Program of development of tourism in Vinnytsia region for 2016-2020 and submitted a draft decision to regional Council for consideration at the next session. The purpose of this program is to create a competitive national and international markets of tourist product, the creation and development of material-technical base and modern tourism infrastructure, favorable conditions to attract investments, efficient use of natural, historical, cultural and tourist-recreational potential, ethnographic features, ensuring conditions for the full functioning of the tourism stakeholders. Promising directions of the Program are: - strengthening the role of inbound and domestic medical and Spa tourism based on the attraction of investments in the Spa and medical infrastructure of the existing network of sanitary-and-Spa institutions of the region; - the use of historical and ethnic heritage for the development of inbound and domestic tourism (Jewish, Polish, Podolski past: the Hasidic path "Volodko", "Tchaikovsky in the Podolia region", "the Spiritual heritage of N. And. Pirogov", "Tulchin way of Alexander Suvorov", etc.); - the development of religious and pilgrimage tourism to Holy places in Vinnytsia region; - the development of sports and extreme tourism. For the goal to be used concrete measures: development of tourist-recreational infrastructure;development of regional tourist product and improvement of quality services; marketing and promotional activities. The program will allow you to create high-quality tourist product, able to satisfy the needs of the population, to ensure an integrated development of the tourism sector; to develop the preconditions for attracting foreign investment; effectively contribute to the tourist exchange and increase the flow of tourists; increase the number of tourists; to improve the conditions of rest and improvement of the population, and also to increase the share of inbound tourism that in turn will lead to the possibility of obtaining additional financial resources to the local budget. The result of the events. The optimistic scenario of development, the program is expected to: - increase the flow of tourists to the region to 1.5 million people a year; - increase investment in tourism and recreation industry of the region; - increase the number of jobs created in the tourism and recreation industry and related sectors to 3.2 thousand; - increasing the number of places in accommodation in oblastta 3.0 thousand places; - increase of income of legal entities and individuals from the provision of travel services to 50 million UAH. per year; the increase of payments to budgets of different levels; - socio-economic development of local communities and economies based on the unique institutional assets of rural territories.
