News of agriculture in Zhytomyr region
As at the second half of August in the region completed the harvest of early grain crops harvest in 2016. In all categories of farms of the region threshed of 209.3 thousand hectares of grain crops, or 97% of the forecast, and produced 782,2 thousand tons of grain, 86.0 thousand tons more than last year, the average yield was 37.4 t/ha. Farmers started harvesting potatoes, which has already been excavated in the area of 18 thousand ha (34% of the forecast). The rating indicator for the production of potatoes Zhytomyr region takes the 2nd place among the regions of Ukraine. According to statistical reports, as 01.08.2016 year collected 413,3 thousand tons of potatoes. Within seven months of the current year in sphere of agro industrial complex of the region created 411 new jobs, including in agricultural enterprises – 209. Most jobs created in the agricultural companies of the red army (37), Brusilovsky (33) Radomyshl (25), Chudnovsky (23), Olevsky (21), Narodytska (19) districts. At the enterprises of food and processing industry created 202 new jobs, including: LLC "Zhytomyr meat processing factory – 112, JSC "Ovruch milk canning plant" is 35, PP Renet – 30, OOO Andrushevsky cheese" – 23. In 2015 in Zhytomyr the beginning of the production activity of the enterprise for manufacturing of natural health products based on bee products and medicinal plants "FTPSVC". Recently, the company "FTPSVC" celebrated its first anniversary. Today the company has more than 15 representative offices in different regions of Ukraine and Kiev and every month their number increases. Products "FTPSVC" (dietary supplements and products for skin care) available in the form FtpDrive, honey compositions, cream and balms ftpmonitor. All drugs recreational areas are made by unique recipes. They include honey, propolis, wax, bee pollen from floral pollen, bee venom, pine oleoresin, natural animal, vegetable and essential oils, infusions of medicinal plants and other natural raw materials.
