22 August in the winery traditionally commemorated the law enforcement officers who died during performance of official duties. Near the monument to fallen law enforcement officers in the Central Park of the city took place the meeting-Requiem with participation of heads of region and city, the families of the victims, the leadership of the Ministry of internal Affairs, Department of State security service, the public and students of Vinnytsia higher vocational school . During the execution of the duties of law enforcement at the time of independence of the state killed 40 Vinnytsia law enforcement officers. Before the tragic list also includes the names of the heroes who gave their lives, defending the integrity and independence of Ukraine in a zone of carrying out anti-terrorist operation. Each of them during the mourning meeting remembered the name and paid tribute to fallen law enforcement officers with a moment of silence. To the foot of the monument to fallen police laid flowers to the relatives of the victims, their colleagues, the leadership of the city and the residents of Vinnitsa. In memory of the militiamen who died during performance of official duties, sounded a military salute.
