Lutsk: chapel of bandura-players "Karpaty" gave a concert in "Kobzarska eyes"

24 August, on the occasion of the 25 th anniversary of independence of Ukraine, in Lutsk there was held a traditional creative action "Kobza Veche". This year the event took place a concert of the choir of bandura players "Karpaty". Deputy mayor Andrew Kish thanked the bandura players for a wonderful concert and presented the Director of the choir the gratitude of city mayor Mykola Romaniuk. “You are doing a very important thing, instilling in people the Ukrainian culture, giving a wonderful Ukrainian singing,” said Andrej Kiska. At the end of the concert bandura, along with the audience sang the national Anthem of Ukraine. Chapel of bandura-players “Carpathians” - a unique identity of the team, unique in the world in which most artists – the visually impaired. Despite the difficulties, they chose their specialty. The founder of the chapel, founded in 1953, was Yuri Danilov-a pupil of the famous poet in Galicia Yuri Zingarevich. Since 2005 the team is led by Yaroslav Melech, the author of most of the choral versions of the repertoire of the choir. The creative team has a lot of sacred, early music, Christmas carols, Cossack Musketeers, rebel songs, songs of Ukrainian and foreign composers, Ukrainian folk songs.
