August 25 – the Day of mourning in the Ternopil region
in Accordance with the decree of the Chairman of the Ternopol regional state administration Stepan Barna, in connection with the death of detective Borschevsky police Department, major of police Alexander Rudik and inspector Borschevsky police Department, police captain Andrew Chernyatinskaya during performance of professional duties, on August 25 in Ternopil region declared a Day of mourning. In a sign of mourning for those killed in a Day of mourning in the region will be lowered State Flag of Ukraine mourning ribbon on administrative buildings of Executive authorities and bodies of local self-government, municipal and state enterprises and institutions, institutions and organizations in the region. Also in the area was instructed to cancel the entertainment and concert events, sporting events and made the appropriate changes to the program of audiovisual media, which operate on the territory of the region.
