Rivne: the state emergency service urges citizens not to provoke fires in natural ecosystems!
So, for the past days was eliminated 171 fires in natural ecosystems over a total area of 126 ha. In total, since the beginning of the year recorded 13 thousand 600 fires in ecosystems on an area of 11 thousand 477 ha. The issues of counteraction to fires in natural ecosystems is one of the important activities of rescuers. The experts of gschs together with the police, representatives of forestry and local governments regularly hold citizens informatino-roses’outreach and place evident propaganda in post offices, hospitals, shops, railway stations, streets. To participate in the events are invited also representatives of mass media to convey very important messages and warnings to the largest possible number of people. Divisions of gschs liquidated daily fires that occur in open terrain, peat bogs, farmland, fields. So, this week, rescuers Khmelnitsky region, together with representatives of forestry and police officers carried out patrols in the forest areas of the city of Netishyn. During the event, employees of gschs checked for the presence of mineralized strips and barriers at the entrance to forest areas. Besides, specialists of service of rescue surveyed the places of recreation. Citizens who were in the woods, the patrol held talks on rules of behavior in ecosystems, as well as reminded about the actions in the event of a fire or of suspicious objects. Every vacationer was presented to pam’tents and flyers warning of the character. The same activities took place on the territory of Vinnytsia, Poltava, Mykolaiv, Volyn, Zaporizhzhya regions. Special attention rescuers paid to the question of fire safety on private land, because quite often the cause of fires in ecosystems is human negligence and carelessness during the burning of dry grass near their own homes. So this week, experts of gschs conducted testing of residential sector in Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Donetsk regions. Rescuers again remind citizens to ban the burning of dry grass, told the rules of fire safety and handed out leaflets warning of the content. Dear citizens!
