In the winery in memory of the 31-th anniversary of the death of the prominent Ukrainian poet Vasyl Stus square , which is named after him, residents of the city celebrated the famous countryman, a patriot. Here, in the area of Vasyl Stus began September Lusowskie read called "Hide the fate – not meant...", timed to the day of memory of the poet, Hero of Ukraine Vasyl Stus. September Lusowskie reading in Vinnitsa held for nearly 30 years. The event was attended by students, politicians, artists, teachers, writers and scientists. Reference: Vasyl Stus was born in the village of Rakhnivka on Gyendin 6 January 1938. Two years later, the family moved to live to Donetsk. Basil in 1954 with silver medal graduated from high school and enrolled in Stalin's pedagogical Institute. In 1959, received a diploma and went to the village Tougne to the Region to work as a teacher of Ukrainian language and literature. Then the "Literary Ukraine" published the first poems of the poet. In 1972, Stus condemned to 5 years in strict regime camp in Mordovia for the "systematic production, storage and distribution of anti-Soviet character, which has disgraced and undermined the Soviet state system". In may 1980 he was again arrested for anti-Soviet agitation. He was recognized as especially dangerous recidivist and in September, Vasyl Stus was sentenced to 10 years forced labor and 5 years of exile. In the camps of the patriot guards had tortured. September 4, 1985, he died. In 2005, Stus was posthumously awarded the title Hero of Ukraine.
