In the Rivne region seized more than 400 cubic meters ladyraven without proper documentation about the origin of
the Employees of bodies of Prosecutor's office of Rivne region together with the police held on 2 and 3 September 2016 authorized raids on the territory of Rivne and Kostopil district and seized more than 400 cubic meters of timber tree species are oak without the proper documents about the origin. These investigations conducted in the framework of pre-trial investigation into the illegal felling of forests (signs of a criminal offense under article 246 of the criminal code of Ukraine). Now measures for establishment of persons which can be involved in illegal felling of forests and waste timber, and collect evidence to pursue the individuals concerned of the suspicion in committing a crime.
