In Zhytomyr also has a renovated pool.
During July-August 2016 in the swimming pool Zhytomyr children's and youth sports school "Avangard" of Zhytomyr regional Council carried out repairs. On 1 September the swimming pool was ready for training sessions, triathlon and modern pentathlon. In the basin were carried out construction works: facing tiles of the bottom and walls of the pool, replace the tile on the roundabout paths, the replacement of stairs in the swimming pool. Also work was done on the walls and partially of the columns in the room bath swimming pool. Renovated 3 meter tower for water jumps, and bypass lanes held drainage. Besides pool renovation, carried out a partial reconstruction of the district heating network, and by the end of September, work to install new panels for heating the pool. For this work from the regional budget were used funds in the amount of 1 million 100 thousand UAH.
