September 8 at the Educational-methodical centre of vocational education in Vinnitsa region held a meeting of the creative team on the development of the State standard of vocational education in the profession "tractor-driver of agricultural production". The creative group with the participation of the head of Department of professional education and training of the Institute of modernization of content of education of Ministry of education and science of Ukraine Victor Perniciaro and head of sector forecasting the demand in professional skills division of vocational education and training Olga Bagmut discussed the reform of vocational education in terms of creating a State standard of vocational education. The reform envisages the integration of the major professional areas in three of the profession "tractor-driver of agricultural production", "Seamstress. Kravets. Cutter", "the assembler of sanitary-technical installations", with the subsequent creation of a separate education centres for each of the professions. According to Victor Perniciaro, the new State standard of vocational education will create a curriculum individually for each institution taking into account its features. Thus, the document describes the abilities and skills of students, which they must obtain, but not the number of hours and subjects – the teacher will be able to determine how best to teach students. This will allow to expand cooperation with employers and increase the practical training.
