In the Volyn region law enforcement combat counterfeiting
Vladimir-Volyn local Prosecutor's office together with employees of Department of protection of the economy in the Volyn region Department of protection of economy of the National police of Ukraine during investigation of criminal proceedings on the fact of manufacture, import to Ukraine with the purpose of use at sale of goods, sale of counterfeit excise stamps, illegal manufacture, storage, transportation with a sales objective of excise goods carried out of court-sanctioned searches in the homesteads and outbuildings of the inhabitants of Vladimir-Volyn region. Discovered and seized more than 10 thousand packs of cigarettes, 1000 bottles vodka products about the’volume of 0.5 liters, all with marks of excise tax, with obvious signs of forgery, 100 liters of alcohol, and 7,000 litres of adulterated diesel fuel, which is stored and implemented on three underground fuel stations one of the settlements of Vladimir-Volyn region. The estimated cost of the withdrawn makes more than 300 thousand UAH. Pre-trial investigation proceedings continue, the question of the appointment of the necessary examinations.
