Chernihiv: the working group is considering proposals for the creation of objects of natural reserve Fund "Konca"
Chernihiv city Council held a meeting of the working group on preparation of offers on creation of objects of natural reserve Fund "Cordua" in Chernigov. Participation in the event was attended by first Deputy Chairman of the regional Council, working group co-chair Valentin Melnichuk, Deputy of Chernihiv mayor Valery Bondarchuk, head of the Department of architecture and urban development Sergei Kalyuzhny, Deputy head of Department of land resources of the city Council Alexander Elk, representatives of the relevant structural divisions of regional and city councils, community activists and journalists. The head of Department of architecture and urban development Sergei Kalyuzhny said that the total area of the tract "Cordua is 478 hectares, among them: 271 – green spaces, 11 - water resources. The territory of the forest Park "Cordua located in the floodplain area of the gums and is vodoohranoy area. "Conci" there is a coastal protective strip, Rod – in the West and the floodplain of the reservoir area of the gums from the East. Members of the working group addressed the management of land resources with a proposal to prepare the most accurate information regarding the register of holders and users on the territory of the tract "Cordua". All participants acknowledged the obvious conservation protection status for the territory of the tract and not an assumption of any building. Given this, social activists consider expedient to create in this area of recreation landscape Park "Cordua" (RLP "Conca"). There were also other opinions, the issue is still being studied and a final decision, the working group will be made after consideration of all proposals. However, the members of the working group were unanimous in the opinion that the territory Kordi is of paramount importance as the center of nature preserved in the urban area of Chernihiv and plays a prominent ecological role.
