While on a working visit in the region, the Minister of justice Pavel Petrenko said that the Ternopil region is a good region with a good performance. Communicating with the residents of the region, in particular, the officer talked about the social project, which aims to protect human rights, regardless of her financial situation. "throughout Ukraine working in the legal aid Bureau. Through an extensive network, which operates across the country, citizens can get expert legal assistance. In the Ternopil region the legal aid Bureau is functioning in each district center. In particular, from September 1, legal aid Bureau began its work in the town of Zbarazh and during this relatively short period of time over 50 people asked for help," — said Pavel Petrenko. Funds for this project were not allocated from the state budget — they saved due to optimization of the work of the Ministry of justice, says the official. In General in Ukraine more than 200 thousand Ukrainian families received real legal help. Mainly applied to pensioners and the poor, with issues of housing subsidies, disputes with utility companies for incorrectly assessed fees, land issues, and the like. In turn, the Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration Stepan Barna thanked Paul Smith for his initiative in the introduction of affordable legal aid to citizens. Also the head of the region noted that each territorial community in the Ternopil region will have its Centre of administrative services, on the basis of which they can operate and the legal aid Bureau.
