Archival Department of Lutsk city Council in conjunction with the library-branch ¹ 3 opened the exhibition of archival documents the 150th anniversary of the birth of Mykhailo Hrushevsky, an outstanding historian, archaeologist, literary critic, sociologist, publicist, writer, scientist, public-political and statesman, founder of Ukrainian people's Republic, in the reading room of the library. It's creative heritage of Mykhajlo Hrushevsky is linked to the idea of revival of Ukrainian culture and science, historical consciousness and national dignity of the people. Hrushevsky was among those public figures who fully experienced the greatness and the sweetness of triumph and bitterness of defeat, but to the end remained faithful to the idea of the whole life — affirmation of his people. The exhibition presents a selection of books, articles, periodicals, copies of documents, copies of archival documents namely: the Second Universal of the Central Rada, signed N. Hrushevsky 03. 07. 1917, the minutes of the meeting of the Ukrainian Central Rada from 15.03.1917, under the chairmanship of N. Hrushevsky, an extract from the minutes of the meeting of the Central Council of 09.01.1918 G. on the adoption of the law on national - personal autonomy, and many others.
