In Chernihiv noted 152 th anniversary of the birth of Mikhail kotsyubinskogo
Today, September 16, the Deputy of Chernihiv mayor – managing the Affairs of the Executive Committee Sergey Fesenko took part in the solemn ceremony on the occasion of the 152nd anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Ukrainian writer Mykhailo Kotsiubynsky. To honor the memory of the author of the famous "Shadows of forgotten ancestors", "Fata morgana", "Intermezzo" and other well-known in Ukraine and far beyond its borders works on the territory of Chernihiv literary-memorial Museum-reserve of N. Kotsyubinskogo profit Deputy Chairman - chief of staff of the regional state administration Natalia Romanova, Deputy Chairman of the regional Council Arsen Didur, Deputy of Chernihiv mayor - managing Director Sergey Fesenko, writer Anna Baran, heads of structural divisions of local authorities and Executive authorities of the region and city, representatives of creative intelligentsia of the region, the public and journalists. During the ceremony, the participants, accompanied by the singing of the academic folk choir of the regional Philharmonic center of festivals and concert programs laid flowers to the grave of the writer and his wife, expressed his words as a sign of remembrance and respect for the great luminaries of Ukrainian literature, which belongs to one of the most honored places regarding the beauty and depth of artistry of their works. During the ceremony speakers noted that Mikhail Kotsyubinsky was not only a master of subtle artistic expression, a great writer, and translator, but also a well-known public figure of national teacher and psychologist of the human soul. Also pointed out that the artist depicted the fate of ordinary workers their strength and will to struggle for a new, fair life, reflected the social and national aspirations of the Ukrainians. The solemn event continued in the Chernihiv literary-memorial Museum-reserve of Mikhail Kotsyubynsky, where, under the leadership of its Director and the great-grandson of the writer, Ihor Kotsiubynsky, the awarding of laureates of regional prize named after Mikhail kotsyubinskogo. This year it was awarded to: - in the nomination "Poetry" – Larisa Tkach for the book "crystal dew"; - in the nomination "Prose" – Love Ponomarenko for the book "the Blue Apple for Ilonka"; - in the category "Ethnology" – Alexander Kovalchuk for the monograph "the Visual in the work of M. Kotsyubynsky"; - in the nomination "Decorative and fine arts" – Eugene Dill for the cycle of works "Chernigov-45"; - in the nomination "Theatrical and musical art" – the creative Association "artist doll" for a series of performances "In his hut own truth, and strength, and will."
