In Ternopil exhibit "Ukrainian Second world"

Photodocumentary exhibition "Ukrainian world" is presented in the Ternopil regional Museum of the Ukrainian Institute of national remembrance, with the participation of the Centre for research on the liberation movement and the promotion of the Ternopil regional state administration. In a relatively short period of time, the exhibition has already visited about 200 of them. Mostly young people — schoolchildren and students. "Ukrainian world" talks about Ukrainians and Ukraine, including the unjustly forgotten heroes who fought against Nazism on all fronts – in Europe, North Africa and the Pacific. The exhibition shows events from 1 September 1939 to the last shots in the far East in the war with Japan," — says the head of the Institute of national remembrance Vladimir viatrovych. Unique exposure photography primarily reflect the role of Ukrainians in world war II, the contribution of our people to the victory over Nazism. There are also impressive photos of Ukrainian Ostarbeiter and concentration camp prisoners, the tragedy of Babi Yar and the Holocaust. Among other things there is information about the Ukrainians who hid Jewish people from the Nazis. When Ukraine was at the center of global conflict, against the background of fighting between members of the two coalitions started to emerge and develop national liberation movement. The exhibition also displays materials about the development of the Ukrainian national liberation movement 1940-1942 years. This was reported in the Ternopil regional state administration
