a joint meeting of the Commission on questions of ensuring timeliness of payment of taxes, make other obligatory payments, liquidation of arrears of wages and the working group on monitoring wage of employees of economic entities that operate in the city. The meeting was attended by first Deputy mayor Taras Yakovlev, representatives of the Department of labor of the Department of economic policy of the city Council, and also heads of the enterprises of the city. Opening the meeting, Taras Yakovlev informed the participants that as of 1 September 2016, the amount of arrears of wages amounted to 4513, 1 thousand UAH, out of which 3596,7 ths owed economically active enterprises, 59, 9 thousand economically inactive, the branch of PJSC “UIC “GARANT — AUTO” and 856,5 thousand UAH — the bankrupt enterprise JSC “Sahaprom”. First Deputy mayor Taras Yakovlev said that the issue of ensuring an adequate level of remuneration is now under special control. In the Program of economic and social development of the city provided to ensure the growth of the average monthly salary of employees of economically active sector and to reduce the number of enterprises with low average wages. According to the monitoring, which provides the Department of economic policy of the city Council, the average wage in the city is 3816 UAH. However, in some plants, which in the luck found more than 20, the average wage did not exceed the statutory minimum wage.
