In the framework of the working visit to Zhytomyr region, September 20, the Minister of education and science of Ukraine Liliya Hrynevych visited Chernyakhovsky school of i-III stages, which was reconstructed this year for the funds DFRR. Together with the Minister visited the school the Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Yaroslav Laguta and Deputy Chairman of the regional Council Natalia Rybak. Liliya Hrynevych visited the new block of the school, toured the new offices. "This school is a very positive example. We see that here we enter a new space, come here more and more children. Improving the quality of education, access to it becomes possible if we focus our resources. In the future, such schools can become the base," – said the Minister of education and science of Ukraine. Also Liliya Hrynevych met with the teaching staff, talked about changes that we plan to introduce in the education system, and answered all the questions that worried the teachers. "I have a very good impression on the teaching staff. Because of an updated program of primary schools can make all children only when they pass through the mind and heart of teachers. The meeting demonstrated that teachers imbued with these changes and convey them to children," stressed Lilia Hrynevych. According to her, the important task is to help teachers to enable them to improve their skills, were motivated to work. "This is one of those tasks that should execute the budget in 2017. We plan to increase salary of teachers, promote them on the grid tariff. Roughly, this increase will amount to about 30 %. Of course, this is not enough, given the salaries of teachers, but it's still a step forward. You need to move, because the General secondary education system, we need to do much to Orient it to the requirements of a modern young man in the 21st century. Otherwise, we cannot build an innovative economy and competitive society," said Minister of education and science.
