In Vinnytsia oblast Prosecutor's office continues to oppose illegal logging in
the Prosecutor's office of Vinnytsia region, continued to oppose illegal logging and take measures aimed at detection and suppression of criminal activity, the criminal corruption offences in this sphere, prevention of illegal export of timber outside the state. So, in 2016 the results of the investigation by the law enforcement officers sent to court 5 indictments under article 246 of the criminal code. Now Kalinsky local Prosecutor's office sent to court indictment against three persons whose collusion was involved in the illegal felling of forest plantations on the territory of the Kalinovsky area on signs of the crime provided by part 2 of article 28, article 246 of the criminal code of Ukraine (illegal cutting of forests, made on preliminary arrangement by group of persons). The amount of the loss in the production is 135 thousand UAH, which in the criminal procedure declared a lawsuit. Just finished criminal proceedings established losses amounting to 1 711 thousand UAH, the arrest of the suspects ' property on 100 thousand UAH and 1 256 ths stated claims.
