At the present, IV Regional library forum "library of Vinnytsia region in the conditions of modernity," will focus on the development of libraries as cultural centres of local communities and institutions of socialization, especially in rural areas. Will discuss issues of importance to the harmonious development of information and book culture in public libraries, as well as the question of the formation of young librarians in the library profession. At the opening ceremony of the Forum with welcoming speeches: people's Deputy of Ukraine Sergey Kudlaenko, Deputy head of culture and tourism of Vinnytsia regional state administration Valentina Troyan, Director of Vinnytsia oblast universal scientific library im. K. A. Timiryazev, President of the NGO "Association library." Natalia Morozova. On behalf of the state publishing house "Art", the state Committee of Ukraine to participants of the library's forum asked its Director, member of the Board of the Ukrainian Association of manufacturers of printing inks Igor Stepurin. Congratulating those present on their professional holiday, he noted that this year the state allocated UAH 40 million. to purchase books for the program of the Ministry of culture: "This is two times more than last year. 40 mln. allocated for realization of the program "Ukrainian book" - four times more than in 2015, about 20 million UAH. was allocated by local budgets, so I'm sure the new book will be in libraries and will find its reader." It should be noted that this year in Vinnytsia region from the regional budget for the publication of books by local authors allocated 400 thousand UAH. The forum participants had the opportunity to explore several thematic exhibitions: "New books and publishers of m. Vinnitsa", "Competition works area libraries", "my library". Program activities are also planned to reward the best library workers with honorary certificates of the regional state administration and regional Council, Department of culture and arts, administration, and reporting and election conference of the "Association library." and summing up the results of the regional competitions "Youth fashion show" and "Reader's Studio".
