In Vinnytsia oblast the 150th anniversary of the birth of Mykhailo Hrushevsky scientific conference is held (photo)
28 September, in the premises of Vinnytsia regional local history Museum was held Ukrainian scientific-practical conference "Hrushevsky and Vinnitsa region: the 150th anniversary of the birth". Participation the conference was attended by Deputy Chairman of the regional Council Lyudmila shcherbakovskaya, Deputy Director of the Department of culture and art of the regional state administration Olga Suncica, Deputy Director – head of the Department of communication of Department of information activities and communications with the public administration Vladimir Lazarenko, Director of the Vinnitsa regional Museum of local lore Ekaterina Vysotskaya, Director of the State archive of Vinnytsia region Yuri Ligun, scientists and historians of the region. During plenary sessions participants heard presentations of moderators, among which was reported by the representatives of the Vinnitsa state pedagogical University. Mikhail Kotsiubynsky Vinnytsya and Khmelnytsky regional Museum. In their speeches, the speakers also focused on the personal life and the childhood of Michael Hrushevsky, the political activities and historical writings of a prominent public figure.
