Zhytomyr: area residents continue to sign contracts with APU
residents of the area are actively signing contracts with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. With the beginning of the year 1770 from the Zhytomyr region went to serve under the contract. The first contract is signed for a period of 3 years for demobilized – 6 months. Military personnel receive a full benefits package: annual leave from 30-45 days, free medical care, right to health resort treatment and rest in sanatoria, as well as compensation for rental housing and the opportunity to receive free housing. Cash support to persons privates, sergeants and sergeants is 7000 UAH per month, those officers – from 10 thousand UAH per month. Also once a year the military receive financial aid. Military service under the contract is: * guaranteed stable cash allowances (pay); * high salary (7 thousand UAH); * additional cash payments and benefits (assistance for rehabilitation, lifting assistance, and financial assistance to address social issues and the like); * free seat selection and conditions of service throughout the territory of Ukraine; * the opportunity to make a career; * possibility of service in peacekeeping units abroad; * free high-quality health care; * the possibility of obtaining part-time higher education during service, including at the expense of the Ministry of defence (after the signing of the second contract); * annual leave of 30 days, the duration of which increases with seniority, in addition to the monthly monetary allowance upon departure to leave an allowance for the recovery of the same; * additional leave for study, creative, social, the other according to the law); * free food at lunch (or compensation), three meals a day in a daily outfit; * receive free housing; * the right to a pension after 25 years of service; * other social guarantees are established by laws; * service at the level of General insurance experience, length of service. Requirements to candidates for military service under the contract: * age between 18-40 years old; * fit condition for service. All military personnel who are are under contract, are eligible to receive free part-time higher education on educational-qualification level "Bachelor" and obtain the primary officer rank (in the presence of higher education).
