Volyn paid tribute to the memory'Yat Hrushevsky
In our state celebrating the 150th anniversary of the birth of the first President of Ukraine Mykhailo Hrushevsky. To pay tribute to the great politician, historian and public figure, near the monument to Mikhail Hrushevsky gathered representatives of authorities and public of the city. In particular, the event was attended by first Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Alexander Stepantsov, Deputy Chairman of the regional Council Roman Karpyuk, the Deputy of the mayor Andrey kitty, heads of Executive authorities. Representatives of the authorities and the public laid to the monument flowers, as a symbol of eternal memory. Andrej Kiska expressed his gratitude to all concerned Lutsk side, who found time and came to honor the outstanding Ukrainian scientist and statesman Mykhailo Hrushevsky. “Hrushevsky wrote many works, which you must use in daily practice. All we see, what processes occur in Ukraine. Hrushevsky was the man who gave us a pointer as where to move, how to develop,” - said Deputy mayor Andrew Kish.
