City mayor Mykola Romaniuk participated in the V Congress of initiatives in Eastern Europe in Lublin (Poland)

Lutsk city mayor Mykola Romaniuk is on a working visit in Lublin (Republic of Poland), where he will participate in the V Congress of initiatives in Eastern Europe. The Congress of initiatives in Eastern Europe for the past several years is a meeting place specialist practitioners in the field of cross-border cooperation aimed at the development, as well as a platform for dialogue of representatives of culture, education, arts, dragano bodies of power, local self-government. Such meetings contribute to the implementation of joint projects. This year discussions will be held within 10 lines of software, particularly security in Eastern Europe, methods of reconciliation, decentralize power, education and science etc.). One of the results of the Congress of Eastern Europe initiatives 2016 should be a dialogue with respect to the actual level of implementation of local self-government reform in Ukraine and the implementation of the agreement on free trade of Europe with Eastern partnership countries. The Congress takes place in the framework of the activities of the Centre for Eastern competences — a program implemented by the city of Lublin and on self-government of the Lubelskie province. In the framework of the visit should be the signing of the Declaration on deepening cooperation between Lublin and Lutsk in the 20-th anniversary of partnership.
