The Chernihiv City Council has funded subsidized transportation to suburban rail transport
Chernihiv city Rada approved a Program of compensation for preferential transportation of separate categories of citizens in the railway transportation of the suburban message for 2016. The developer of the Program is the Department of transport and communications of the city Council. The program provides a payment from the city Treasury to the carrier, which provides discounted fares for passengers and the carriage of passengers at regulated tariffs in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On railway transport". In Chernihiv preferential travel of separate categories of citizens-beneficiaries 11 flights of commuter trains, including from Chernigov to Nizhyn, Nedanchichi and Gornostaevka, provides regional branch "South-West railway". Proceeding from the financial possibilities of the city budget of Chernihiv, to ensure the implementation of the Program planned allocation of funds in the amount of 575 thousand UAH. Reference: By 2016, the State budget provided for the costs of compensation for preferential travel of separate categories of citizens defined by legislation. For example, in 2015 from the State budget was allocated in the form of compensation for travel privileges 432100,00 hryvnia on the rail and in addition the city Council provided a deduction equal to 30% to pay land tax, was 1198930,00 thousand UAH. In 2016, the Law of Ukraine “On State budget of Ukraine for 2016” the cost of reimbursement for transportation of preferential categories of citizens for rail passenger transport do not exist.
