In Zhytomyr oblast state administration on September 30, held a press conference "the Life of religious organizations of Zhytomyr region in 25 years of independence of Ukraine: experience and prospects of religious organizations in the context of Church-state relations", which gathered representatives of various denominations of the region. Chief specialist of management of culture of regional state administration Alexander Pivovarsky, told about the formation of religious networks of the region during the years of Ukraine's independence. Therefore, in the region there are 1502 religious organizations, 23 confession, works 949 priests. In 25 years of independence, the religious network as a whole has increased 3 times. is a very different model of Church-state relations where the state and religious organizations should work together for the good of society," – said Alexander brewer.
