In the Rivne region will judge the head of the district state administration who demanded and received 3500 USD improper benefits
the Prosecutor's office of Rivne region sent to the court indictment against the head of the district state administrations who demanded and received 3500 USD undue advantage. Pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings carried out by the investigators of the main Directorate of the National police of Ukraine in Rivne region under part 3 of article 368 UK of Ukraine (obtaining illegal benefit by the official which holds responsible position, combined with extortion). The official, who is also the Deputy of regional Council, was exposed by prosecutors and the security Service of Ukraine in June 2016 immediately after receipt of funds from a resident of the area for the assistance of the latter in the preparation of documents necessary for the conclusion of contracts for the lease of 65 hectares of agricultural land. At the initiative of Prosecutor's office of Rivne region official authority dismissed in respect of him a preventive measure in the form of detention with the definition of Deposit in the amount of 150 minimum wages. Now the punishment for this crime the court determines. Reference: sanction of part 3 of article 368 UK of Ukraine prescribes punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty for a term up to 10 years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to 3 years, with confiscation of property.
