Temporary derogation from October 1, excessive administrative regulation of food prices will boost healthy competition. And this is a step towards improving the quality of products. This drew the attention of the Director of the Department of agricultural development of regional administration Vitaly Lui during a briefing. "For anybody not a secret that the best control for manufacturers is competitor prices. I think such a move would only benefit producers and entrepreneurs, in the new conditions each of them will try to be competitive," said Vitaly Lui. At the same time, he noted that there will be a very effective monitoring of business entities. "Previous studies show that regulation is inefficient. And the price of food, which is artificially regulated, growing at an average 20% faster than the prices of other products," said Mr. Lui.
