In the Ternopil region lacks wagons for grain transport
About the provision of railway rolling stock agricultural producers and enterprises of construction and mining industry were discussed a meeting chaired by first Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Ivan Kriska. In General, in the field there is not enough traction rolling stock on the railway, as well as insufficient number of wagons for transportation of grain cargoes, wagons for transportation of building materials, etc. As reported in the Department of infrastructure, transport and conservation of the regional state administration, the need for grain cars in September 2016 amounted to 1072 cars, demand for October 2016 – 1702 cars. The need of industrial enterprises of mining industry and quarrying Ternopil region for freight cars in September of the current year amounted to 933 napugali. Individual societies, such as PJSC" Ternopil quarry" need 2200 monthly gondolas, LLC "Quarry novosilka" and Polupansion branch of LLC PC "Mining industry"-100 units /day until the end of 2016. First Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Ivan Krysak instructed to prepare an appeal to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with a request to assist in solving the problem. "We cannot delay, because until we have a sufficient number of freight cars even for transportation of grain harvest. So this issue should not be approached formally," - said Ivan Bogdanovich.
