Zhytomyr region takes the experience of Poland in development of entrepreneurship
Just for the sake of Ukraine's Ministry of economic development of the Republic is implementing the project "Enhancing Ukraine's investment attractiveness and competitiveness of regions" in the framework of the program "Polish aid for the development in 2016." In Zhitomir there arrived representatives of the Polish delegation participating in the project to learn about the economic potential of the region as a whole and to identify ways for further cooperation. The Director of the Department of economic development, trade and international cooperation of the regional state administration Alexey Shatilo said the Polish partners about the economic situation in the region, attracting foreign investments, and shared practices for the creation of an organization that will deal with the development of entrepreneurship in the Zhytomyr region. In the framework of the project, our region will learn from the experience of Poland on the creation and development of industrial parks, improving the economy of the United territorial communities by attracting investments. Overall, the project includes two main components: 1) at the national level – providing technical assistance to complete the undertaken deregulation of small and medium business; 2) at the regional level – providing business consultations and enhancing entrepreneurial skills for small and medium businesses through a network of regional development agencies/business support center. The representatives of the United territorial communities of Zhytomyr region, told the guests about the structure of their communities and preparing for the growth of economic potential.
