A resident of Vinnytsia seized more than 800 liters of alcohol (photo)
In the household of vinnychyna the staff of tax police GU DFS in Vinnitsa region found and seized a consignment of alcohol that had been stored in plastic 220 litre barrels and plastic bottles. Here found empty barrels with a characteristic smell of alcohol, hoses for filling, watering can, alcoholometer, filters. The search was carried out within investigation of criminal proceedings on signs of the criminal offense under article 204 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (illegal production, storage, sale of excisable goods). The value of the seized illegal excisable products is almost 190 thousand UAH. Use is made of alcohol of unknown origin alcoholic beverages could carry a direct threat to the life and health of consumers. Since the beginning of this year employees of tax police GU DFS in Vinnitsa region were withdrawn from illegal circulation of alcohol for total amount about 20 mln. counterfeit alcohol (including under the form of a luxury drink) – a total value of more than 2 million UAH. Hundreds of thousands of litres of illegal alcoholic beverages and raw materials for its production, which is not allowed on the shadow market, and which will not cause harm to life and health of citizens.
