Vinnytsia regional branch of the International public organization "Ukraine-Poland-Germany" continues to implement its unique local history project "Europeans Vinnytsia region", which became possible thanks to the support of the regional state administration and partially funded by the regional budget. The project involves the search, compilation, dissemination and popularization of historical information about famous European leaders, born or, in a particular period of his life, were in the territory of Podillia. "Interestingly, one-third of "Europeans of the region" – the representative of Poland. It's not because we wanted to during the selection of candidates, but because historically Podolia and Poland are extremely combination in historical terms," – says the Chairman of public organization "Ukraine-Poland-Germany" and coordinator of the project "European region" Alexey Gavrilov. Recall that in the framework of the project it is planned to create a historical and tourist maps of A1 size which will be marked all the places where he lived, or in a given period were "Europeans of the region" and similar brand-ox, which will be transferred to the Vinnytsia regional Museum of local lore, and bilingual (Ukrainian-English) booklets with 5000 copies for distribution to educational institutions, libraries and Museum institutions of the region. During the two-day press tour on October 6-7, representatives of mass media of the region visited a number of historical sites that are directly connected with citizens that are somehow relevant to the socio-economic and cultural formation of Europe, the like of which we know . Public organization "Ukraine-Poland-Germany" became one of 12 winners of the competition to determine the programs developed by institutions of civil society, which provides financial support in 2016 at the expense of means of the regional budget, which is traditionally held every year by the Department of information activities and communications with the public RSA. "Project "the Europeans of the region" one of the most interesting and most creative of those who took part in our competition," – said the Director of the Department of information activities and public relations of the regional state administration Svetlana Vasilyuk.
