Agrarians of Vinnitsa region harvested 4 million tons of grain
In all categories of farms as of October 11, 2016, according to operational data collected by districts grain and leguminous crops-total area of 674,3 hectares (77.9 per cent). Harvested 4024,6 thousand tons of grain with an average yield of 59.7 C/ha (in 2015 – 45,6 t/ha). Including corn with square 303,9 thousand hectares, which is to be cleaned, assembled – 115.8 thousand ha (38.1 per cent), and produced 968,1 thousand tons, the average yield was 83.6 kg/ha (in 2015 – 47,9 kg/ha). Soybean area 143,2 thousand hectares, which is to be cleaned, assembled - 115,7 thousand hectares (80,8 %), yielding 263,0 thousand tons with an average yield of 22.7 q/ha (in 2015 – 12,5 t/ha). Sunflower square 264,3 thousand hectares, which is to be cleaned, assembled - 254,0 thousand ha (96,1 %), and produced 727,8 thousand tonnes with the average yield of 28.6 C/ha (in 2015 – 24,9 kg/ha). Sugar beet area 54.8 thousand hectares, which is subject to harvesting, dug - 30,2 thousand hectares (55.1 per cent), however 1467,0 thousand tonnes with the average yield – 485,8 C/ha (in 2015 and 372,5 kg/ha). In the production season 2016-2017 has 6 sugar mills. As 11.10.2016 G. accepted for processing 1198,5 thousand tons of sugar beet processed – 1052,4 thousand tons. Produced 161,0 thousand tons of sugar. In all categories of farms for the harvest of 2017 with forecasted sowing areas of winter crops – 383.6 thousand hectares sown -236,7 thousand ha (61,7 % of the forecast), including grain 236,0 thousand hectares, from them: - winter wheat with the projected area 337,2 thousand hectares were sown – 217,3 thousand ha (64,4 % of the forecast); - winter rye with the projected area of 1.4 thousand hectares planted on an area of 706 ha (49.6% of the forecast); - winter barley with a projected area by 43.1 thousand hectares were sown – 18,1 thousand hectares (41.9% of the forecast). The prepared soil under winter plowing in the area – 594,3 thousand hectares (53.6% of the forecast), including deep plowing – 52.2 thousand ha (85.6% to the forecast).
