In Zhytomyr began the championship on Futsal among the airborne divisions.
On 11 October, in Zhitomir at the training center of the airborne forces, began the Futsal championship for the Cup of the Commander of high-mobile landing armies of Armed Forces of Ukraine. The solemn opening ceremony was attended first Deputy Commander of the airborne troops major-General Yuriy Sodol, President of the AFU Sergei Vladyko, the authorities of the region and city. Congratulated participants of competitions and head of the Department of family, youth and sports of the Zhytomyr regional state administration Svetlana GRES. Football battles will last for three days. Participation in them will involve nine teams – representatives of military units of airborne forces. Summing up and rewarding of winners will take place on the eve of the Day of defender of Ukraine, October 13.
