In the Ternopil region opened a new agricultural cooperative

Grand opening of production facilities for agricultural service cooperative "Generous margin" established in the framework of the Project EU / UNDP "Local development, oriented on colossus" took place on 11 October in the village of Staryi Pochaiv Kremenets district. Repair facilities, purchase production equipment, the necessary furniture and equipment for the technical information center of the JUICE is carried out in the framework of the project EU/UNDP IWG. The main purpose of implementing this micro-project is the establishment of services for the members of the cooperative for the processing of fruit products at dried fruit. Form of the cooperative - processing of fruits, vegetables, and in the future - the medicinal herbs with the help of modern infrared dryers, vegetable slicers, machines for washing and cleaning of vegetables, apples, roots. In addition, the planned systematic training of members of the cooperative for the conduct of management in development of new technologies, new areas of further processing that will significantly increase the organizational, technological and educational level of business executives and residents of the territorial community. "Agriculture in Ternopil region develops through the establishment of cooperatives, and this additional jobs and employment. Each cooperative is able to mobilize the community and efficient use of land resources", — said the first Deputy Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration Ivan Krysak. Within the framework of the EU Project/ABOUT the IWG in the Ternopil region established six agricultural service cooperatives JUICE "Generous margin" C. Staryi Pochaiv, JUICE "Berry edge" losiatyn village, JUICE "Dary poley" Sergei Rudka Kremenets district, the JUICE is "Green well" S. Koshliaky Podvolochisk district, JUICE "the Old mill" S. Cenv Kozovsky district and JUICE "Well" Kotov, Berezhany district. Reference: The project EU / UNDP "Local development, oriented on colossus" is working since 2008 on the entire territory of Ukraine. The main objective of the Project is to promote sustainable socio-economic development at the local level by strengthening the overall management and promotion of public initiatives in the villages and cities of Ukraine. The third phase of the EU Project UNDP IWG implemented during 2014-2017 with a total budget of 23.8 million Euro, provided by the European Union (23 million Euro) and UNDP (800,000 Euro). Only during the first two Project phases were implemented 2,600 local initiatives. More than 1,000 micro-projects implemented now during the Third phase of the Project or at the stage of completion. Just more than 5 million people have improved their lives thanks to the global network of UN development, an organization that advocates positive change and connecting countries to knowledge, experience and resources to help people around the world to build a better life.
