Welcoming the participants of the scientific meeting on behalf of the Chairman of the regional state administration Valery Cows, the Director of the Department of information activities and communications with the public RSA Svetlana Vasilyuk noted the importance and relevance of the topic to the current discussion: "the Journalist as no one can realize oneself in his creative professions that shape public opinion of people,- she said.-You need to keep in mind that changing information environment, changing approaches to state information policy, so our Department works on the principle that the government has the duty to tell, and the person has a right to know." Svetlana Vasilyuk also informed those present that in the mass media space of the Vinnytsia region was 663 the media, of which 49 broadcasters. 33 print media, was a communal, adopted a decision on privatization at the first stage, and next year sent in "independent swimming". She also noted that currently in Vinnitsa work very powerful broadcasting company with which the Department has signed agreements and which are involved in the coverage of issues of concern to the government. In turn, Vadim mazurik, who is a lecturer in the Department of journalism of the Vinnitsa state pedagogical University, noted the importance of the protection of information space, which is now modificeres, changes the outlines of : "We need to understand how and in what way we want to develop public broadcasting as it should be a revolution in the TV space , when analog TV will change to digital. During the two-day all - Ukrainian scientific- practical conference scientists will lead discussions about the actual problems of theory and history of Ukrainian journalism, experience,traditions, problems of functioning of regional media, will discuss the state and prospects of development of the modern audiovisual media.In the field of view of scientists will be linguistic aspects of the genre variety of contemporary mass media space, Ukrainian publicism, advertising,as well as the history and modern trends in publishing.
