Organizers and partners of the event were regional scientific medical library, regional Committee of trade Union of health and management of health administration. According to the Director regional scientific medical library Alla Aspen, not coincidentally, October 14, our state celebrates the Day of defender of Ukraine. Today is not just a holiday. After all, a war waged in the East of our country, one way or another touched every Ukrainian family. The defenders of Ukraine for us is not an abstract way - they are among us, we admire those who with arms in his hands to protect our earth, every second in danger of life. Since the beginning of the antiterrorist operation in the East of Ukraine attended by 2.5 thousand medical professionals, 197 of them received state awards, 35 - were killed. The participants honored the memory of fallen heroes with a minute of silence. "Tonight we dedicate them - brave people, experts in their field, who to the end remained faithful to their vocation to save lives. This day truly their holiday, because they are the defenders of our defenders," - said Alla Osina.
