In Ternopil held a national workshop on energy efficiency

all-Ukrainian scientific-practical seminar "Diversification of energy sources: innovative integrated energy systems" took place on 12 October in TSMU them. V. Hnatiuk at the initiative of the Chairman of the Ternopol regional state administration Stepan Barna. In this event took part the people's Deputy of Ukraine Oleg Barna, the first Deputy Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration Ivan Krysak, managing Director of the Executive office of the Ternopil oblast Council Ivan babiychuk, representatives from the Department of infrastructure, transport and conservation of the regional state administration headed by the head of Department Vasily Asenovska and scientists of Kyiv and Ternopil. The seminar took place the signing of agreements between the relevant institutions of Ukraine and enterprises of Ternopil. "The implementation of energy efficiency, energy conservation should become one of the key factors of technological re-equipment of the entire Ukrainian economy. The main purpose of transformation is to bring the energy intensity of the Ukrainian economy to the performance of EU countries. Such seminars will help to find new solutions and approaches to establish new contacts that will start and will introduce in manufacture and social sphere of the most modern means of energy efficiency", — has addressed with a salutatory word to the participants of the seminar, the first Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Ivan Krysak. On one of the weaknesses of the contemporary energy system is to save energy. As is known, the share of energy in the price of goods ranges from 40 to 60 percent, and most of our companies, only 60-70 percent of energy consumed goes to the production needs, and the rest is lost, was discussed during the workshop. In the structure of energy resources consumption in the region dominated by natural gas, on the second place is electrical energy, by the year 2015 are, respectively, 64 and 30 percent of the total consumption. Thus, the use of alternative energy sources, primarily local fuels (peat, wood, straw, vegetal waste, agriculture and processing industry) is one of the solutions to improving energy security. The oblast almost 70% can replace natural gas consumption with alternative energy sources. All, currently, in the public sector of the region in the implementation of 158 energy efficiency and energy conservation projects. The implementation of these projects will help to replace in the heating season to 7.4 million cubic meters of natural gas (over 24%) in the amount of 56.4 million. This was reported in the Ternopil regional state administration
