In the Zhytomyr region actively continuing with fall field work
the agricultural companies of the region continues cleaning the harvest. As of last week in all categories of farms of grain and leguminous crops threshed on the area of 268,3 thousand hectares (72% of the forecast). With an average yield of 42.9 t/ha harvested 1151,1 thousand tons of grain, 215.1 thousand tons (23%) more than at this date last year. The region's farms is the planting of winter crops. Already winter crops by all categories of farms planted on an area of 112,4 thsd ha (81% of the forecast), including: wheat and triticale 85,1 thousand hectares (77%), rye 23,1 thousand hectares (102%) and 4,2 thousand hectares of barley (68%).
