Chernivtsi: a Film about Eugene Gakman – the winners of the film festival "Pokrov-2016"
Series “Bukovina Indigo” a nationwide awareness-raising film project “Secrets of my city” became the winner in the category “Best editing” at the XIV International festival of Orthodox movie "Pokrov", which was held recently in Kiev. It is dedicated to the ecclesiastical, social, political and cultural figure, the first Metropolitan of Bukovyna and Dalmatia Yevhen Hakman. The visualization and content of the series have praised not only the audience, but also the professional jury, headed by Yegor Beckendorf. The filmmakers, GO "Sargon", shooted in close cooperation with the Chernivtsi city authorities, historians and other local consultants. At the festival "Pokrov" was presented to the best work of art, documentaries and animations. Just to participate in it were presented more than 200 works. Reference Municipal film project called "Secrets of my city" became a kind of Chernivtsi innovation. He gave the citizens an opportunity to rethink the details of the local heritage ("editor", "Gymnasium"), Orthodox culture ("Bukovina Indigo", "Residence"), awareness of the importance of Bukovina the role of a social history of the entire state ("Land"). Series dedicated to Chernivtsi, was successfully broadcast in many cinemas of Ukraine.
