Suspects in the attack on jewelry store in Vladimir-Volynskij taken into custody
Vladimir-Volyn local Prosecutor's office performs procedural management of pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings about the robbery at the jewelry store in the princely city committed two residents of Zhitomir. On the morning of 04 October, 2016 35-year-old and 20-year-old attacker went into the shop “Jewelry” that the street in Kovel, Vladimir-Volynski, and, threatening the seller with the subject similar to the gun wanted the jewels. However, noticing that the seller pressed the "panic button", the attackers fled. On the same day on the given fact the Vladimir-Volyn police Novovolynsk police Department of the Main Directorate of the National police in Volyn region began pre-judicial investigation on signs of the crime under part 3 of article 187 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (the robbery connected to penetration into the room). Thanks to the joint coordinated efforts of law enforcement officers, 13 Oct malefactors were detained in Zhytomyr. While the older of them, except the passport of the citizen of Ukraine, discovered the passport of the citizen of Moldova. Now both men it is reported about suspicion in Commission of crime. The court also has chosen for them the measure of restraint in form of detention. Reference: sanction part 3 of article 187 of the Criminal code of Ukraine for the Commission of the robbery connected to penetration into the room, are punished with imprisonment for the term from 7 till 12 years with confiscation of property.
