In Zhytomyr discussed ways of combating breast cancer
17 October, at the regional cancer center held a press-conference on the occasion of the world day against breast cancer and all-Ukrainian day of struggle with the disease of breast cancer. In press conference took part the chief doctor of the regional oncologic dispensary Boris Gul, who noted that breast cancer is the most common cancer among the female population of Ukraine. The key to success in cancer treatment is to identify disease at early stages, and awareness of state institutions and society of the need to introduce effective preventive and screening programs, information campaigns with the aim of increasing awareness and competence regarding diseases, breeding and motivational components of a healthy lifestyle and increased attention in relation to their own health. The main objectives of cancer services region Boris ghoul calls prevention of cancer, early detection of precancerous lesions and early symptoms of the disease, and also, certainly, modern methods of diagnostics and treatment of diseases, including personifications of treatment.
