The state program provides for reimbursement of the amount of loans taken for the purchase of energy efficient equipment and materials in multi-family and single-family homes in three areas in the following sizes: - 20% of the loan amount (but not more than 12 thousand UAH) is a mechanism for the replacement of gas boilers for the population; - 35% of the loan amount (but not more than 14 thousand UAH) – for individuals to implement energy efficiency measures; - 40% of the loan amount (but not more than 14 thousand UAH. per apartment) - for condominiums and housing cooperatives as legal entities for its internal activities; - 70% of the loan amount if the borrower is a natural person-recipient of a grant for payment housing-utilities. If condominiums are the recipients of subsidies, such condominiums shall be reimbursed in average size between 40% and 70% depending on the number subsident. Terms and conditions of consumer crediting of physical persons for the purchase of energy saving equipment and materials: - maximum loan amount - 42 000 UAH; - minimum loan amount – 1000 UAH; - minimum initial installment – 10% of the value of the goods; - loan term – up to 3 years; - interest rate – 25% per annum; - loan repayment – equal monthly instalments, early repayment of the loan without additional fees; - one-time fee for the loan is 3% of the loan amount. Since the inception of the Government program of support of the population for the implementation of energy efficiency measures (from October 2014) as at 01 Aug 2016 in the field of banks "State savings Bank of Ukraine" and "Ukrgasbank" issued 6182 loans in the amount of 107.7 million hryvnia, 5 condominiums. Those Ukrainians who will participate in the program to insulate their own homes, replace Windows for energy saving, to set the metering, upgrading lighting and so forth, will receive from the state non-repayable financial assistance in the amount of 35% of the amount of attracted loan funds. Such compensation will be provided to those who receive subsidies for housing and communal services. During the month of October of the current year issued 70 loans amounting to 1.4 million hryvnias.
