In Zhytomyr region, the government compensates for the October utility costs to those families who do not have time to issue a grant
Those families who did not make a housing subsidy before start of the heating season, the Government compensates the October utility costs. Will also offset the cost of utility bills for November in the case of recourse within two months from the date of the beginning of the heating period, according to the Ministry of social policy of Ukraine. Regardless of the type of heating – Central heating or individual gas or electric heating – in the case of receipt of an application for the appointment of subsidies, for example, in December, grant aid of the Government will be appointed from the beginning of the heating season. That is, the state will reimburse the utility expenses of the family for two months. In addition, in the case of an application for the subsidy within three months from the date of increase of tariffs for housing and communal services subsidy is assigned from the date of increase of tariffs. That is, if in October you change the rate to one of the types of services, for example, cold water and Sewerage, subsidy will be appointed from 1 October, even if the appeal was received much later, say, in December.
