Rivne: the next 7 years will spend behind bars for two area residents,who were found guilty in the death of a friend
Zdolbuniv district court supported the position of the prosecution and having considered the indictment against two residents of Rivne region, found them guilty of Commission of the criminal offense provided by part 2 of article 121 of the criminal code of Ukraine (deliberate heavy injury of a group of persons, entailed death of the victim). During pre-trial and trial the accomplices pleaded not guilty. However, in the latest evidence the Prosecutor submitted to the court and substantiated by cogent and irrefutable evidence. So, it is proved that in September of 2015 men being in the apartment at n Zdolbuniv, where he lived from their friend, after drinking alcohol, because of suddenly arisen aversions, deliberately struck the latter about 11 blows to the head and body. Beat victim with fists, feet and a wooden stick. From the injuries sustained he died in a few hours. The public prosecution is supported in court workers Zdolbuniv local Prosecutor's office. In sentencing the court took into account also those circumstances that men was already brought earlier to trial and at the time of the offence one of them was serving a sentence of probation. According to the verdict of Zdolbuniv district court for committing a serious crime men sentenced to imprisonment: one of the accused, 7 years, another 7 years and 6 months. It should be noted that the guilty verdict has not yet entered into force, the parties to the proceedings have the right to appeal to the appeal within the period prescribed by law.
