In Ternopil, created school sports in water sports
On the basis of the former sports society “Petrel” began its activities detsko-youthful sports school of water sports. For the maintenance of this institution from the municipal budget of Ternopil allocated 200 thousand UAH. “Sports school «Burevestnik» filed an appeal to the city Council to Ternopil considered the possibility to adopt the institution of municipal property in the retaining profile, the number of groups and coaching staff. Despite the emphasis in the development of water sports, at the regular session of city Council made the decision on the reorganization of this institution in school sports for water sports. Also for the maintenance of schools allocated the necessary funds in the amount of 219 thousand UAH.», - says head of Department of seven’th, youth and sports Mykola Cool. Now the school is engaged in rowing 130 pupils. For the future the following years, the city is considering opening additional sections for water sports such as Windsurfing, as well as upgrading the existing database.
