Alexander Radko informed all about the results of the activities of the office of the State migration service of Ukraine in Zhytomyr region for 9 months of work. During this time, the territorial divisions of the region have issued 18 180 thousand passports of the citizen of Ukraine is the old model, almost 5 thousand 300 in the form of the id-card and 36 thousand passports for travel abroad, of which 23 thousand with contactless electronic media. "In the Ukrainian legislation there have been changes that require the issuance of passports of citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad only with implanted chips to store biometric data of citizens and provided an opportunity for all the citizens of Ukraine of passports in the form of a card, since children who have reached 14 years of age. In connection with the expected increase in the number of registrations of new passports until the end of 2016 is planned to connect to a secure telecommunications network DMS all existing territorial divisions and to ensure their automated workstations for biometric travel documents", – said Alexander Radko.
